REPRESENTATIVES OF ARMENIAN RADIO COMPANIES AND “ROSTELECOM” IN ARMENIA DISCUSSED THE NEW DEVELOPMENTS OF RADIO STATIONS

On June 29, 2016 a meeting-discussion dedicated to the modern technological solutions of radio broadcasting took place in the headquarters of “Rostelecom” in Armenia.
In particular, for the first time “Rostelecom” presented its new App for Smart IPTV “Radio”, which broadcasts 16 Armenian radio stations.

“Armenian consumers are always aware of modern technological developments and solutions. Keeping the adopted strategy and carrying out investigation, “Rostelecom” continues to present world’s widespread technological solutions. Today we introduced the “Radio” application for our Smart IPTV to the attention of public and experts, which is presented first time in Armenia. In fact, “Rostelecom” in Armenia gives the opportunity to its customers to listen to their favorite programs and music directly from the screen even in the close-to-border regions”,- mentioned Hayk Faramazyan, CEO of “GNC-ALFA” CJSC, “Rostelecom” in Armenia.

Representatives of Armenian radio stations were invited to the meeting and they made their proposals and remarks on the project. The list of radio stations and functionalities will be periodically updated.

The application is developed by Armenian IT experts and is aimed at making radio stations’ broadcasting available to the company’s customers both in Yerevan and in the regions.
