“ROSTELECOM” PROVIDES A MODERN AND RENOVATED PLAYGROUND FOR VANADZOR CHILDREN
On September 13, 2018 “Rostelecom” jointly with Vanadzor municipality officially opened a renovated playground equipped with modern sport equipment in the central “Mother and baby’s” park.
The CEO of “Rostelecom” Armenia Hayk Faramazyan and Vanadzor Mayor Mamikon Aslanyan were present at the official opening ceremony. They had a round trip through the park and got acquainted with the maintenance and renovation in the park. Afterwards they invited all children to the playground to enjoy the joyful entertainment program organized specially for them.
Since 2016 “Rostelecom” is implementing park renovating projects. The projects are aimed at building and equipping parks with playgrounds and green areas, renovated and verdurous parks for children and their parents.
The project has been implemented in Gyumri, Kapan, Alaverdi, and now in Vanadzor, where parks were built and renovated, where children have the opportunity to enjoy their playing in outdoor green and equipped playground.
“Childhood is very important period for each person and the time spent in the yard playing active games makes kids stronger. This is the base for future healthy lifestyle and society. For many years “Rostelecom” has been realizing and will continue the implementationof such projects targeted at provision of renovated parks for communities. In cooperation with the municipalities we create the basis for one more ongoing public-private sector cooperation for the benefit of the city and every resident of the community. The new academic year is ahead, and apart from their intellectual development, children now have the opportunity to enjoy their active rest in a renovated park. I congratulate all residents of Vanadzor and express my gratitude to the mayor for cooperation”, - mentioned the CEO of “Rostelecom” Armenia Hayk Faramazyan.
In the framework of “Giving childhood” project “Rostelecom” not only constructed playgrounds and renovated parks but also carried out activities in Hrazdan, Gyumri, Ijevan, Armavir, Masis and in other cities of Armenia since 2013, which became unforgettable for the residents and especially children.
