Rostelecom opens its first sales and service center in Armenia in city Abovyan

The first Rostelecom sales and service center was launched in Abovyan city.

The retail sales included IP telephony and Internet services with IP TV to be available soon.

GNC-ALFA network is based on a fiber optic cable infrastructure and currently covers up to 80% of RA (more than 2500 km.).

The network is connected with main magisterial networks in the region, traffic exchange largest nodes and international gateways with Iran and Georgia.

After major investments implemented in 2012, the company developed networks using ''Fiber to the home’’ (FTTH) technology in 11 cities of Armenia and in December started retail sales in three of them.

The company plans to expand its geographical presence and retail network in 2013-2014, providing the services in most of the Armenian cities.
