“ROSTELECOM” ANNOUNCES THE START OF A COMPETITION FOR MIDDLE AGED (50+) INTERNET USERS.
“Rostelecom” organizes a competition in Armenia named “Thank You, Internet 2015” for Middle Aged internet users.
This interactive competition, which describes individual achievements about computer literacy, for the first time is held outside Russia, in Armenia. Armenia became the first country where local people were allowed to take part in a Russian-speaking competition.
The contest is meant for older generation users (50+) who have learnt how to use a computer and Internet on their own or through special computer courses.
To apply for the project one should visit the website www.azbukainterneta.ru “Competition”/«Конкурс» section and fill in the form, uploading an essay as well as two photos (portrait and with PC).
The applications are accepted in two nominations: “Internet-my friend and assistant” and “Virtual communication”.
The deadline for application submission is October 1, 2015. The awarding ceremony for Armenian winners is scheduled at the beginning of November in the framework of open classes.
"Nowadays, not only young but also Middle Aged people are interested in the new technologies and internet resources. Many of them are active users of social networks, and successfully follow the news feed through internet. We call on users of older generation to register and take part in the contest. Prizes and surprises are waiting all participants. We are waiting for your stories", said the Head of PR Unit of “Rostelecom” in Armenia Siranush Gyurjinyan.
