FOR THE THIRD TIME PROJECT “NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS” WAS HELD IN ARMENIA

“Rostelecom” summed up the project "New Opportunities for Students," which for the third year in a row unites 20 students from Armenian universities with different areas of expertise who have one goal - to win and join “Rostelecom” team.  
 
Participants, have the opportunity to take part in the interactive training with the direct participation of employees of the company for about a month.  
 
With the help of practical seminars, students got acquainted with the activities and subtleties of work of the company's units, passed interactive courses on various topics including communication, marketing, branding, legal issues, sales skills as well as optics of network solutions. They made joint projects, took part in teamwork, got new connections.  
 
On July 18 the winner of the competition stage Lilit Grigoryan (4th year student, Unit of Information Security, Computer Systems Informatics Department, NPUA) was offered to pass a three-month paid tuition in the preferred department of “Rostelecom” in Armenia, and in case of passing she may join the company team. During the closing ceremony participants were awarded with certificates and their candidacies will later be considered in case of suitable vacancies.  
 
"Dialogue with young people is very important for us and important for them to be aware of the principles of corporate management of the company. I am sure that the knowledge gained here will greatly contribute their career development in future. Thanks to our project students gain self-confidence, become aware of corporate culture and principles. Students participated in the previous projects joined different divisions of the company and now successfully combine their studies and work", said General Director of “Rostelecom” in Armenia, Hayk Faramazyan.  

The 3rd and 4th year students with bachelor's degree could participate in the project along with graduates with master's degree from all Armenian universities. The project is carried out for the third time in Armenia and participants were selected among a large number of students.
