“ROSTELECOM” ARMENIA CEO VISITED A MILITARY UNIT UNDER THE MINISTRY OF DEFENSE OF THE RA

When outlining the yearly activities companies elaborate a number of events aimed at summing up results of the projects implemented and pointing out the upcoming plans.

On December 23, CEO of “Rostelecom” Armenia Hayk Faramazyan visited one of the military unites of the Ministry of Defense based in the north-east of the Republic of Armenia. During the visit, “Rostelecom” Armenia provided TV-sets and other household appliances for the needs of military unit.

The head of the company, along with the officers, toured the military unit, got acquainted with the food provision process, menu, classrooms and bedrooms main conditions, the common areas where soldiers spend their time out of military service.

“Rostelecom” has been cooperating with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia for a long time, and we have implemented a range of projects, particularly aimed to raise the defense capacity and efficiency level in the communication sector.

Our visit ahead of New Year holidays was to support the military unit. We decided to donate TV-sets and other household appliances for more favorable conditions for soldiers”, - mentioned Rostelecom” Armeina CEO Hayk Faramazyan.

The parties agreed to build a large Smart TV hall and other relevant infrastructure at the base. An arrangement was made to equip the large hall with Smart TV and tech solutions, so that soldiers could watch scientific, popular, military videos and TV shows during their leisure time as well as TV programs and content – to feel New Year celebrations mood.

“It is very important for us to reveal that every company and every individual stands behind our soldiers our officers”,-mentioned CEO and congratulated on upcoming holidays expressing confidence that any nation can sleep without worries being ensured that the country borders are secure due to the reliable and instructed military services.
