16.07.2018

On May 30, 2018 the joint project "Hello from the future” organized by “Ayb” School and "Rostelecom" Armenia, started with the first exhibition and round-table discussion. The participants got acquainted with the latest trends of future technologies worldwide, its use in the most incredible areas (like artificial intelligence (AI) in art) and learned about developments in Armenia.

Being one of the leading ICT companies, "Rostelecom" Armenia has joined “Ayb" School students and supports their project "Hello from the future", emphasizing the importance of implementation of public awareness raising events about technologies, development of techno thinking and mindset especially among youth.

The project “Hello from future” presented by "Ayb" school “Tekhnosharzh” club students organized an exhibition with AI artworks.

"Each century has had its innovative installations in art. Our century is that of AI (artificial intelligence), and it is not surprising that innovation enthusiasm towards the art is influenced by artificial intelligence. What Ayb students thought about and realized is a vivid proof of that. Connecting two different worlds, they made something special: artworks created by AI are presented at this exhibition. This does not mean that there are two participants – the painter and the photographer. The exhibition doesn’t have two participants, a painter and a photographer, but in this situation there are three parties: a painter, a photographer and AI, ֊ said Director of "Ayb" school Aram Pakhchyan.

Nowadays future technologies and the technological future of humanity are the most discussed and prospective themes.

According to some points of view development of technologies and the reduction of human activity risk the existence of some professions.

On the other hand, the history shows that scientific and technological innovative solutions have always influenced the development of humanity and the effective use of basic resources, which aims to free a lot of time for creative work.

"Today the true comprehension of children by artificial intelligence (AI), which every day covers an ever wider range of applications, will give them the opportunity to find new implementations and use for AI in the future, reducing the need for human efforts and work. It is great that "Ayb" school, among other things, attaches special importance to the development of technological education and thinking for children.

I am sure that today's discussions and the exhibition will be extremely useful both for participants and in terms of forming a common understanding of AI that will be applied by each of us in the near future," noted General Director of "Rostelecom" Armenia Hayk Faramazyan.

The authors of the exhibition tried to demonstrate the role of technologies in our lives and their influence on our lifestyle, education, and profession.

The discussion held in the scope of the event united leading specialists from technological areas: Vazgen Hakobjanyan the head of the “Tekhnosharzh “club from “Ayb” School; Artur Khalatyan lecturer at AUA, founder of the Department of Data Science, Arsen Mamikonyan, founder and director of “HiLearn”, and lecturer at AUA and Habet Madoyan lecturer at AUA and director of “Datamotus”.
