FOR THE SECOND TIME PROJECT “NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS” WAS HELD IN ARMENIA

The project “New opportunities for students” came to the end. It united 20 students from 7 universities of Armenia (Yerevan State University (YSU), Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE), Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences (YSULS), Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University, Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU), French University in Armenia (UFAR), National Polytechnic University of Armenian (NPUA)). Regardless of their profession they got an opportunity to participate in a one-month interactive training course with the participation of the company’s staff.

Due to the practical seminars students got acquainted with the activities of subdivisions, passed interactive courses about various topics starting with the communication skills, marketing, branding, legal issues, from sales skills to optics and networking solutions, they put forward their suggestions for different directions of the “Rostelecom” activities, took part in various team competitions, became friends both with the project participants and “Rostelecom” in Armenia staff.

On June 19 the results were summed up and the winner of the competition was offered a three-month paid course in “Rostelecom” in any preferable department. In case the course is completed successfully the winner will join the company’s staff. At the final meeting participants were awarded with certificates.

“I strongly believe that students are the base of high quality human resources and staff, and they becoming competent through experience and practical knowledge. Through our project, students gain self-confidence, learn about the office work in large companies, which, I am sure, will be very applicable in their future work. I would like to stress that 5 students from last year project already work in various units of "Rostelecom" in Armenia”,- mentioned CEO of “Rostelecom” in Armenia, Hayk Faramazyan.

Besides, many students with creative thinking, flexibility, team working and other appropriate skills were offered to join the staff.

Students from RA Universities with 4th year of bachelor and Master’s degree could take part in the project. The project is held in Armenia for the second time and the choice is made among great number of students who want to participate.
