WITH THE SUPPORT OF “ROSTELECOM” IN ARMENIA TUMO SUMMER SCHOOL HOSTED CHILDREN FROM BORDERING VILLAGES AS WELL
TUMO center for creative technologies organizes a Summer school, which provides not only various skills and knowledge to participate but also gives opportunity to communicate to each other and become friends with the participants of their age from abroad.
2016 summer school started on June 20 and in the scope of “Rostelecom” in Armenia CSR projects Albert and Arsen Yenoqyans from Khachik village participated and passed their study-holidays in TUMO center free of charge.
In the framework of the one-week project brothers took part in Animation and Web programming classes of TUMO center, with other participants they visited cultural sights, places of interest, museums, zoo, spent days full of sport games and various programs and as a result presented their own technological and animation projects.
At the Computer Animation classes, children studied how to present phenomena around them and people in 2D and 3D formats, to present their ideas in the form of short stories at the same time using Adobe Flash and Animation Desk programs.
During Web Design classes children learnt to design their own dynamic website using HTML5 and CSS3 programs to design and Adobe Dreamweaver program to give interactivity to the website.
TUMO summer school for creative technology gives the opportunity not only to dive into purely technological solutions but also gives freedom for explorations ensuring active communication with culture, sport as well as with their peers and experts from different spheres. As a result, in the end of the project kids make presentations and present their own creative ideas and innovations.
Summer is the period of active rest and explorations for children, and participation and impressions from such projects are priceless for them.
Cooperation between “Rostelecom” in Armenia and TUMO center for creative technology will be subsequently continue in favor of technologically educated and intellectual youth.
