“ROSTELECOM” AWARDED THE WINNERS OF BLITZ CHESS TOURNAMENT IN ABOVYAN CITY. SURPRISES FOR THE PEOPLE OF ABOVYAN ARE GOING TO BE CONTINUOUS.

On October 15, 2015 ”Rostelecom” together with Abovyan Chess School organized a blitz chess tournament. 55 students from the school participated in the tournament and as a result of 7 rounds 3 of them became winners.

“Rostelecom” Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan awarded the young chess players during the official event organized by the company.

Highlighting the importance of chess in the development of flexible mind and creative thinking CEO of the company wished success to the young players.

The event was held at the Abovyan Cultural hall. The Mayor of Abovyan, Vahagn Gevorgyan, representatives from the Municipality, customers of ”Rostelecom” and invited citizens were present at the event.

After the ceremony the citizens enjoyed life concert with favorite songs of Arsen Grigoryan, Hasmik Karapetyan and Vardan Badalyan. ”Rostelecom” Armenia Commercial Director introduced the core functionality of the latest SMART TV launched by “Rostelecom” in September. The citizens were offered to watch a movie they chose with the use of the SMART TV YouTube application. Everybody was excited and Rostelecom made their evening with an amazing event and an interesting movie.

Guests enjoyed their evening film watching in a funny and friendly atmosphere.
