“ROSTELECOM” IN ARMENIA EXPANDS COOPERATION WITH KAPAN MUNICIPALITY

On July 8, 2016 representatives of “Rostelecom” in Armenia signed a Memorandum of understanding with the Kapan Municipality for strengthening and expansion of cooperation between the sides.

In particular, MoU says, that taking into consideration the results of joint projects and achievements since 2013, cooperation with the municipality continues assuming not only the design and maintenance of infrastructures but also the formation and exploitation of new ones. Among upcoming projects it was mentioned the construction and furnishing of modern kid playgrounds, as well as providing new parks with free Wi-Fi. The sides will continue to cooperate in the scope of educational projects. Besides, “Rostelecom” in Armenia will continue provision of the city electronic library with free Internet connection.

Signing of the memorandum was followed by the official reopening of “Rostelecom” in Armenia sales and service center in Kapan. “Rostelecom” in Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan and Kapan Mayor Ashot Hayrapetyan were present at the ceremony. The new SSC was opened in 2013 and it has been reconstructed in 2016 to fit “Rostelecom” brand new style and to serve customers with modern infrastructure.
