HENCEFORTH, ALUMNI OF NUBARASHEN BOARDING SCHOOL N2 NOW CAN WATCH CONTEMPORARY PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS DUE TO “ROSTELECOM” IPTV
On February 2, 2016 “Rostelecom” granted “Yerevan kids care and protection” boarding school N2 in Nubarashen with IPTV free and full services. Around 70 children attending 1-12 classes live in the school. Thanks to the TV service kids will have the opportunity to watch a few dozen of educational and colorful channels, as well as music, sport, movie, news and entertainment channels. The number of channels in “Rostelecom” TV services for 6-12 age group is up to 148.
“Rostelecom” presented the surprise on the start of a new semester, considering the fact that the classes start on February 1 in accordance with the decree of the Minister of Education and Science of Armenia.
“It is of great importance for us to provide our customers with high-quality services. Equally important are services provided to the kids and elderly care houses in the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility projects. We started supporting Nubarashen “Kids care and protection boarding school N2” in 2013 and supporting projects will be continuous”, - mentioned CEO of “Rostelecom” Armenia, “GNC-ALFA” CJSC, Hayk Faramazyan.
Earlier, in June, 2013 “Rostelecom” built a local network in the territory of Nubarashen Kids care and protection boarding school N2 and till now provides the classrooms and computer classes of the institution with free broadband internet services.

Boarding school takes care and brings up 6-18-year-old-chlidren from low-incoming families registered in the family poverty assessment system, supports their legal rights, gives them food and clothes, provides them first aid, guarantees sufficient sanitary conditions.
In boarding schools parents keep acting as their child’s custodial opposed to the orphanages where the custodial of a child under the legislation is orphanage.
After classes children have a day full of outdoor activities and entertainment /games, activities, excursions/. The institution also has groups for dances, shoe-making, sewing, computer literacy, as well as in cooperation with the children's creative center of Erebuni community there are groups for making soft toys, tapestry, macramé, karate, woodworking, and painting.
In such institutions, children can stay during the week and on weekends and holidays, if possible in families.
