"ROSTELECOM" HAS SIGNED A MoU WITH NATIONAL POLITECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF ARMENIA

On April 10, “Rostelecom” in Armenia and the National Polytechnic University of Armenia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for the benefit and development of the University.
 
The memorandum was signed to ensure the acquisition of practical skills through professional experience, by highlighting the need of highly qualified professionals to improve the quality of educational programs and the need to educate conscious citizens as well as by highlighting collaboration between the University professors and “Rostelecom”, to keep the active dialogue with the young generation.

 
“Years of cooperation with the National Polytechnic University of Armenia show that their graduates have competitive knowledge and thus advantages in the market and can acquire job positions in the best companies of the field, such as “Rostelecom””, noted “Rostelecom” in Armenia GD Hayk Faramazyan.”
 
In the scope of the cooperation, “Rostelecom” provided the university with Cisco Systems network equipment and computers for organization of the up-to-date educational process for the students through continuous process of lectures and trainings in the university.
 
“I am sure that the high-quality Cisco equipment and computers provided will assist the students to acquire better knowledge about latest technologies. We have hosted and will continue organizing visits from Armenian educational institutions and presenting the latest platforms, server and technological solutions," said “Rostelecom” in Armenia GD Hayk Faramazyan.
 
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in areas of mutual interest:
 
- organizing lectures and conducting classes for university students by involving "Rostelecom” in Armenia management team and leading employees,
 
- organizing meetings and discussions with representatives of "Rostelecom” in Armenia on the issues related to the field of activity of the company with students and lecturers of the university,
 

- to ensure the university students involvement in programs that improve their practical skills,
 
- organize visits to "Rostelecom” in Armenia departments as well as events, programs,
 
- to ensure the organization of educational trainings and practice at "Rostelecom” departments.
 
Managers of two organizations expressed their confidence on cooperation and on the idea of developing of telecommunications in Armenia through professional approach and use of the latest technologies.
