“ROSTELECOM” IN ARMENIA CLARIFICATION TO “PANARMENIAN MEDIA GROUP

In response to the press announcement made by “Panarmenian Media Group” CJSC “Rostelecom” comes up with clarification. In particular:

"As it is known, “Rostelecom” in Armenia broadcasts TV channels through the network in partnership with the "Hybrid Solutions"LLC.

Armenian channels have always been and will continue to be involved in "Rostelecom" all packages free of charge. Moreover, five channels are included in the package "Social", in the scope of which five TV channels - Armenia TV, Armenian Public Television (H1), Armenian Second (h2), Kentron and Mir TV are aired for all subscribers even when services are suspended due to debt.

Since November 1 without any reason “Panarmenian Media Group” CJSC has desolved the contract with "Hybrid Solutions"LLC and ceased the transmission in “Rostelecom” in Armenia network as well.
We assure that the issue is of great importance for "GNC-ALFA" CJSC (brand "Rostelecom"), as well as any business process, and the company constantly negotiates with partners, acting within the legislation of RA.

The company always negotiates with partner companies on processes, especially when it refers to the interests and desires of its customers.

In addition it should be mentioned that “Rostelecom” expects a quick solution to the issue for the benefit of its customers and is ready to make all efforts to resolve the situation."
