25.12.2015

At New Year’s Eve “Rostelecom” jointly with “Kind Santa Claus” project makes children’s cherished dreams and desires come true.

In the framework of “Kind Santa Claus” project letters to Santa Claus from close-to-border villages are placed on the www.santaclause.am website. Anyone, who wants to become a Santa Claus and make a child’s dream come true, fills data on the website and transfers the gift. The project is organized by “Proportional Development” Community Development NGO. “Rostelecom” joined the project in 2015 and made some children’s dreams come true.

“This year “Rostelecom” takes active participation in bringing joy and smiles to children from borderline villages. The New Year’s magic should be hosted to every child, and we consider it our duty to support organizers of such projects. Corporate social responsibility and charity projects by “Rostelecom” are carried out throughout the whole year and I am sure that such projects must be continuous and should not be implemented only on holidays”, said CEO of CJSC “GNC-ALFA”, "Rostelecom” in Armenia, Hayk Faramazyan.

“Proportional Development” Community Development NGO has implemented this project since 2008. In 2015 authors of 300 letters will receive their gifts from Santa in borderline villages on December 27 and 28. According to the company, Santa Claus always gives more gifts to children than it has been planned.

“Our project has several goals: First of all, we want to keep children’s belief, expectations for the better and the positive, so that Santa is perceived not only as a fairy tale character, but as a symbol of realizing good goals and dreams. And secondly, the project is targeted at children from borderline villages, those who are in semi-war situation, far from the city's entertainment possibilities, and they need more attention and warmth than others.

Involvement of such large companies like "Rostelecom" in the project will play a great role in implementation of the project”, said Director of “Harmonious Development” community development NGO, Makar Yeghiazaryan.

"Rostelecom" wishes peace and happiness to all children.
